So I think it's necessary to bring something to light, info that I claimed to be true but in fact wasn't, I'll say that right out. I told tons of people I was admitted to King's County G Ward for a pyromaniacal condition. It's true I lit things on fire, and I did have some problems, but it was never that serious. The reason I bring this up is because I think it made some people think critically of my mental stability, and damaged a lot of relationships as a result.

So, I have no more to say. Talk amongst you, say what you will. I would hear your piece and learn your opinions.

I'm happy to say the Certain Someboddee storybook is well underway. I've written one chapter out of twelve or so, give or take as much as needed. The illustrations are all sketched out for the first chapter.
Also, Asian Bootleg hasn't made much progress. I'm working more stuff out artwise with the author. And I've got until May to finish it, so I guess it's okay to shurk it and work on something else for a while. I'm spending my time with the storybook and I'm coming back to Grainvale and Riker for a short period. And I'm doing more sketches for Blaylock. And other stuff.

So priorities are at the moment summarized so:
1. School and work, of course
2. Certain Someboddee
3. Asian Bootleg
4. Riker/Grainvale
5. Blaylock <S/P>

-EDIT I-

Made it to quintuple digits on me pageviews. Kinda cool.

Things have gone sour as of late. First, on Sunday, I found some dismaying news thrust in my face. A girl I was so intent on asking out (and I was sure I was, with much certainty leaving no room for doubt), who is very beautiful, very humble and very intelligent...
Wait... I've told this all to you before. Never mind.
But other mishappenings include me getting 4 hours of sleep last night with no dinner, no breakfast this morning, a lost paycheque, my plans with the great Heusinkveld cut short, and...
Oh right, I also have athlete's foot. It's disgusting and hurts like hooch and I can't where shoes for a day or two, which actually leaves me a lot of time to write a quiz for my American Lit class, and possibly a pencil landscape bringing back the golgotha theme from before.
One good thing did come from this eccentric day, and that's the viable encouragement from Blackburn to join AP classes for my senior year. Looks like I have a shot at college after all!

OH, and the art student teacher is a eff-tard beeotch.

The Dream Is Dead

Mon Feb 2, 2009, 8:47 PM
  • Mood: Pride
  • Listening to: My Girlfriend's Girlfriend (very relevant)- T.O.N.
  • Reading: Needful Things - King
  • Watching: the freaks roll by
  • Playing: Bioshock
  • Eating: White cheddar Cheez-Its
  • Drinking: sierra mist
What an incredibly strange and full day. I found out the girl I was so intent on asking out is into girls herself. Now despite the countless TV and internet interps of lesbianism, as well as an absolutely rockin' Type O Negative song (stated above), this kind of news is not "awesome" and actually feels devastating to learn. But after a whole day of thinking I said the worst thing possible and finding she has a deep interest in fine art (and, of course, downing an entire box of white cheddar Cheez-Its), I think things may work out in my favor. So, yes. There was more to the say that I'd like to tell, but I'm far too exhausted from work (I got my job back! YAY) and I'm just welcoming a relaxing day off tomorrow. If for some sick reason you're interested in the electrical fire, robbery, pirate Devil story or hate-filled old co-worker, then let us converse in comments.

P.S. - Oh, and I can't change my mood for some reason. I'd rather it say "hopeless exhaustion" or some shit. And white cheddar is the best.

So grab yer lady, man or giant gargantuan liver beast and squeeze her/him/it, and give a kiss for good measure.
I'm actually stoked to be single this Valentine's Day, 'cos that just means I can ask whoever I want to be my VALENTINO CLEMENTINO.
And me brilliant mum is getting me some materials to make some spiffy valentines to sell at some place that regularly vends original stuff like that. (Plus I'm gunna make one for a certain gilly, especial.)
Just as well, I don't know if you've heard, but Thurop and the rest of the guys working on Flapjack are doing a Valentine's Day special and they're going to show valentine fan art on Cartoon Network. I've already cooked up a nice painting that I hope they consider.

This is my second V-Day as a learnéd artist, and I plan to make it a traditional thing to make valentines for a smitten many to enjoy. Valentine's has always been one of my favorite breaks from year-round Halloween.

To all love young and old, hurrah!
